The meeting at Clairefontaine has been abandoned today, due to adverse weather. Lyon La Soie goes ahead later today. with some tricky races. I like Corbusier in the 4.30 race. He ran well when second recently at Marseille Vivaux on the all weather track when collared close home, and has strong claims of getting off the mark today.

At Cheltenham over jumps, Cooltobecareless 3.30 was impressive when scoring at Chepstow on his return to action recently, and will likely start as a hot favourite. He has some nice horses in the field to overcome, with the recent winner Bells Grove, who won going away at Navan last month in a handicap hurdle and is on an upward curve, looking like a live threat.

At Doncaster, with slow ground to overcome, one race already over- It will be interesting to see how Entrust 3.55. who is the son of Enable gets on on his racecourse debut. He is well regarded and could have most to fear from Age Of Reason, trained by Charlie Appleby, who has been working well at home and he will be looking to pay off some of his 800,000 guineas price tag.
