Todays free tip as follows: No bet today !

Due to the rain across most parts of the UK and beyond over the last day or so, I think it is wise to leave the betting for today, there are numerous horses that have been withdrawn today, majority due to the rain softened ground.

Todays free tip as follows:

Name: Follow The Bear

Race: 4.15 Worcester

Current odds: 11/10

Analysis of the race:

Follow the Bear won well last time at Kempton, he made the running and although possibly having the run of the race, he stayed on well to win despite a last flight blunder. One note of caution is the weather, although this horse has form on soft ground he probably prefers good ground.  I am keeping eye on the weather and will watch a few races from Worcester before having a bet, just to make sure its not too testing.  Currently 11/10 is value.

Update: It is raining at Worcester, I’m going to half my bet on Follow the Bear, if he runs his trainer must feel he will handle the ground!

Update 2: Follow the Bear is a non-runner

Todays free tip

Name: The Doorman (keep eye on  the weather)

Race: 3.20 Sedgefield

Analysis of the race:

The Doorman won well last time at Carlisle, he does not want too much rain, so wait before you back this horse.  I think he will win if the rain stays away.  The others in the race have not shown much form of late, the horse of Neil Mulholland’s Oscar’s Boss looks the obvious danger and he has cheekpieces on today for the first time, as his last run was very poor at Warwick.

Round up of last few days:

We had some nice tip’s win last week 3 winners from 4, with Gin in the Inn finishing second beaten a short head.  Condaw Banker the tip yesterday had every chance when making an error at the 3rd last and then a worse error at the second last at Kempton, losing any chance he had of winning.

Horse: Oh This is Us

Meeting: Haydock

Time: 3.45

Current odds: 2/1

Analysis of race:

Oh This Is Us has been running well over distances from 7f-1m recently, he ran well over 7f at Haydock last time.  I hope that they go decent gallop as he likes to come from off the pace.  Keep an eye out for more rain, as if the going goes to good-to-soft or worse I will not be having a bet, as with a track that has had watering the ground can become very false. Win bet if weather stays dry!

Name: Gin In The Inn

Race: 5.05 Chester

Current odds: 7/4

Analysis of the race: Gin In The Inn won very easily recently at Pontefract.  Richard Fahey has turned this gelding out quickly and although he has 6lb extra for his recent win, I think this horse is well ahead of the handicapper at present.
