This horse did well to win last time over course and distance.  He has to improve a bit to win again as he meets two rivals who did finish close to him last time, and are better off at the weights today.  I just thought he was blocked twice last time when making his run, and still managed to find a way to win.  He has a jockey change today with Jim Crowley taking over from Mitch Godwin, not sure the reason but hopefully Crowley can get the same response today.  Of rivals Sotomayer could run well, he has shown ability and Secratario has been running well and has a chance of being in the mix.

In the 5:15 Kempton Bow Street looks as though he has a very good chance to get off the mark, he takes on a lot of unexposed rivals, some of them are unraced, and may well be useful.  He is just very short in the betting, one to double up with Sauchiehall Street !

This filly ran well on debut, she was second to a filly that won a listed race impressively at Newmarket a few days ago. Of her rivals Medal Of Honour has had a lot of tries to win, currently still trying.  George Villiers is the main rival for me, he was slightly disappointing last time, maybe the change onto all weather today may suit him.  I like my selection ‘s trainer and jockey, and think she can win.

Good to see a lot of long shots winning last night at the Breeders Cup.  Wuheida (only UK win) was a good winner of the fillies mile for William Buick, he rode an intelligent race to win, the second was a shade unlucky.

Another good win yesterday with River Wylde making a winning debut over fences at Uttoxeter, backed at 4/5, he won well.

Although short odds and a bit to find on ratings against Bravo Zolo under race conditions.  I think my selection can win.  He has been progressing for his trainer with a good win last time.  A lot of his rivals have form over shorter trip’s than 1m, mainly 7f, so that is a major factor today.  Newmarket Rowley mile track takes a horse that stays the trip well, a straight track is always stiffer as turning tracks give the horse the chance to stay a trip better, on a straight track the race tends to develop a bit further from the winning post ! Bravo Zolo could be my selection’s main rival, if he is in good shape as he has been off the track for a while.

Another nice winner yesterday, Court Liability backed at 7/4 winning at Sedgefield, he was well backed into 5/4 returned.

Horse: River Wylde

Time: 2.45 Uttoxeter

Current Odds: 4/5

Although a short price I do think this horse is a fair bit better than his rivals.  It is his first race over fences, but will be well schooled and comes from a good stable in Nicky Henderson.  His hurdle form was well above average, and he looks the type to make into a useful sort over fences.  Of his rivals, Hells Kitchen is the choice of Barry Geraghty, he is retained by the owner who also has Kimberlite Candy in it.  Hells Kitchen has been lightly raced, so is fragile, he also has a hood today for the first time, that may help him relax, but I don’t think he will be good enough to beat my selection.

Current Odds: 7/4

Having won a bumper at Fontwell, my selection looked a promising type to go over obstacles.  He was placed in a point to point, previously and should have enough to make his trip north worthwhile.  Judge Earle could be the main rival, he was second on his first try over hurdles, just beaten a head that day, he looks dangerous.

Nice winner yesterday with Laieth backed at 11/10 winning easily at Wolverhampton.  I may do an update later as I have been travelling so nothing solid yet !

With normal improvement for his run last time, my selection should be too good for his rivals, Escalator is possibly his main threat.  But I think on what was a promising first run Laieth can win today, the race he was fourth in has seen a winner from it already ( the second won next time).

Nice winner yesterday with Saxon Warrior winning at Doncaster , it was also the horse that broke the record for Aiden O’Brian with Group 1 winners in a season, with it being win number 26 of Group 1 races. Fantastic achievement for an excellent trainer.

Current Odds: 3/1

This horse won his point to point before running in a bumper recently, he won well in that on fairly quick ground, the time was good and although possibly not a strong race, he won well.  In his first run over hurdles today, he takes on some potentially nice types, but with his recent win will be fit and will be fine on the ground.

Of his rivals, Eniscoffey Oscar won the big bumper last season at Aintree, he ran ok last time on his hurdle debut, so has a chance of being in the mix today.  On The Blind Side could be a useful sort as well, he won his point to point, then was sold for over 200,000 to new owners and has joined a top stable, he is favourite and must be well respected, it will be a good race to watch.
