Looking at tonights evening racing. At Beverley 6.23, California Gem looks to follow up from her win at Ripon over the minimum trip of 5 furlongs. She has a penalty, will need to reverse form with Santabella, and I have opted to back the Boughey trained filly without Santabella, she was 15/8 early today.

I just watched Queen Me win at Haydock, she won well from Serenity Rose, who ran well. Watching a few jockeys that have been mentioned as possibly going to take over from Frankie Dettori at the Gosden stable. David Egan has been mentioned, I just watched his ride on Serenity Rose, he rides well, but is not comfortable with his whip in his left hand, he needs to practice that, as the top riders can use both hands.

A prime example of a former champion jockey, who is very uncomfortable with his whip in his left hand is Paul Hanagan.
