Reflecting on the racing today, I just watched the final race at Stratford 8.30. Greystoke ridden by Tom Cannon was unlucky, he was given a lot too do by his rider, and a slight mistake at the last, when trying to close on the front pair virtually put him on the backfoot, and then he was nearly put through the rails by the second, he was unable to recover, but he is one to watch through the summer. I have been a bit disappointed by Tom Cannon on a number of occasions over the last few months, I think he is lucky to be riding for a good trainer, who has good horses, as he is prone to errors, tonight a prime example.

On the level today, Ben Curtis was stood down from riding after his ride in the 2 mile handicap at Haydock on Skycutter, he was reported to have a dislocated shoulder, and was unable to ride a finish when his mount came under pressure, speaking from experience, a dislocated shoulder is very painful, hopefully Ben can make a quick recovery.

Some good racing tomorrow, so hopefully I can find a winner.
