Trying a new trip of 1 mile 6 furlongs, the son of Sea The Stars relished being given a patient ride by Ryan Moore, staying on strongly on the climb to the line to score by over 2 lengths.

Today looks difficult at Newmarket. The 2.15 is a mile handicap for three year olds and upwards. Nugget is short priced favourite, and will probably be ridden with a bit of patience, I would expect Cognac to be ridden forward by William Buick, he could well make the running- regarding having a bet, it is a shame it only has 7 lining up. I did think the top weight Ambassadorial could have a decent chance, if he relaxes, as he can be keen and has a new jockey riding today in Tom Marquand.

At Ascot tomorrow Enable is short odds to win the King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. I would not bet against her, as her recent race when second in the Eclipse at Sandown should have brought her forward.
