Three meetings today, Newmarket has the first day of the Craven meeting, some nice horses running today at the meeting. I am backing one horse although slightly odds on, I just think he will be too good for his rivals.

A short odds price, but I think this colt could be a potential group horse, he won nicely last year on his second run at Kempton, beating a horse that won its next race very easily.  His first race when second at Newmarket (July course)!was solid, a number of winners have come from that maiden, including Chilean, who recently won a Gp3 race in France.  He is sure to be fit, and his stables horses are in really good form.  Of rivals, Purser has to give 3lb away to my selection, he probably needed the run recently when fourth at Kempton, he looks the one to beat, Accessor comes from a strong stable, the booking of Ryan Moore is a positive,and he has to be respected, as he did very little wrong when winning last year on his second run.  I just think Symbolization will be too good for them all.

The first race at Newmarket 1:50 has some nice prospects in it.  Elhafei is highly thought of, he has had one run already, a promising fourth at Lingfield when running very green, he should be more focused today, but Aurum is having his first run for Charlie Appleby, he is highly regarded as well, Godolphin always run their best prospects at Newmarket when having their first run. A few others from big yards also line up, so well worth watching this maiden race.
